1. Who We Are

Pawspoke is a product of Zazu App ("Zazu", "Pawspoke", "we", "us", or "our"), established and operating under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt (Commercial Registration No. 295752). You may contact us using the details in Section 16 (Contact Us).

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian in accordance with the Egyptian Civil Code's provisions on the contractual capacity of minors, to create an account or submit content on the Service. By registering, you represent that the information you provide (including your email address and, where applicable, phone number) is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

We use email-based one-time-password (OTP) verification to confirm your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the contact details in Section 16 if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Each person may hold only one account; accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.

3. Reviews & User Content

Pawspoke's reviews are open, community-submitted, and not independently verified by us prior to publication unless stated otherwise. When you submit a review, rating, photo, comment, or other content ("User Content"), you confirm that:

• It reflects your genuine, first-hand experience with the business, and is truthful and not misleading.
• It does not contain defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise unlawful material, and does not violate the rights of any third party (including privacy and intellectual property rights).
• You were not paid, incentivized, or coerced by the business (or anyone else) to post it, and it is not posted on behalf of a competitor.
• It complies with Egyptian law, including Law No. 175 of 2018 on Combating Information Technology Crimes and the general provisions of the Egyptian Penal Code on defamation and insult.

You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it you grant Pawspoke a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt it (e.g., for formatting or moderation) in connection with operating and promoting the Service. We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove, hide, or refuse to publish any User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, is unlawful, or exposes us or others to liability, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate this Section.

Businesses may respond publicly to reviews about them and may dispute a review through our contact channels; we may investigate and, where a review is shown to be fabricated or in breach of these Terms, remove it. Removal of a review is not an admission that the underlying business practice did or did not occur.

4. Business Listings & Claiming a Business

Business listings on Pawspoke may be created from publicly available information or added by users. A business owner or authorized representative may "claim" a listing to manage it — updating details, photos, and responding to reviews. By claiming a listing, you represent that you are the owner or an authorized representative of that business, and that all information you submit about it is accurate and not misleading. We may request supporting evidence of your authority to claim a listing and may reject or revoke a claim at our discretion.

5. Fees & Services

Access to the Service, including browsing listings, submitting reviews, and claiming and managing a business profile, is currently provided free of charge.

We reserve the right to introduce fees for specific features, premium business services, or promotional tools in the future. Any future fees or paid offerings will be clearly communicated with advance notice on the Service, and no fees will be charged to you without your prior explicit agreement. Any paid services offered in Egypt will comply with applicable laws, including Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

6. Third-Party Businesses — Important Disclaimer

Pawspoke is a discovery and review platform only. We do not provide veterinary, grooming, boarding, training, or any other pet-care services ourselves, and we are not a party to any transaction, appointment, or agreement between you and a listed business. We do not verify the licensing, qualifications, insurance, or quality of listed businesses unless expressly stated. You are solely responsible for evaluating a business (including checking its professional credentials and, for medical matters, consulting a licensed veterinarian) before engaging its services, and you deal with businesses at your own risk.

7. Prohibited Uses

In addition to the restrictions on User Content above, you agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service using automated means without our prior written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network related to the Service, or interfere with its security features.
• Post fake, incentivized, or manipulated reviews, or otherwise attempt to manipulate ratings or rankings.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a business.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

8. Notifications & Communications

We may send you service-related communications by email (such as OTP codes, account and listing updates) and, if you enable them, browser push notifications (such as review responses or claim updates). Essential service and security communications cannot be opted out of while you hold an account; you may disable optional push notifications at any time from Settings.

9. Intellectual Property

The Pawspoke and Zazu names, logos, and the Service's design, software, and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected under Egyptian and international intellectual property law, including Law No. 82 of 2002 on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights. Except for the limited license to use the Service as intended, nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in our intellectual property.

10. Termination & Suspension

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time via the contact details in Section 16 (see also our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, or if required by a competent Egyptian authority. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including User Content licenses already granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service, including all listings, reviews, and other content, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted under Egyptian law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, Pawspoke/Zazu, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from (a) your use of, or inability to use, the Service; (b) any User Content, including reviews you rely on; (c) your interactions or transactions with any listed business; or (d) unauthorized access to or alteration of your data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of Egyptian law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Pawspoke/Zazu harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent permitted by Egyptian law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rights you may have under Egyptian law.
